I love Christmas. I love decorating, sending out the year that's been and welcoming in the year to come. I love the excuse to bake excessive amounts of cookies and having cookie dough sitting in my fridge for the weeks that follow. I love the corny shirts and the mismatched "good crockery" of a Christmas Day family gathering. I love the ridiculousness that is our Christmas tree, decorated by my children and their friends as part of their own friendship tradition. I love the collection of battery-operated singing Christmas toys, most of which are looking worse for wear.
I have an extra soft spot for anything to do with reindeers. Each year my own copy of this print - along with a handful of other Christmas themed artworks made by my kids - replaces the other art on our living room walls and it always brings a smile.
