I first made this print for a friend who had been through a huge upheaval in her life and wanted a piece of art to remind her of the famous quote by Dinos Christianopoulos, “They Tried to Bury Us, They Didn’t Know We Were Seeds.”
This print represents the incredible strength we all possess to grow and evolve into the most beautifully complex and complete versions of ourselves, even under the toughest of circumstances.
This print is available as a single layer lino print with the option of gouache and/or gold leaf embellishments. Please note that these embellishments are added to your individual print after you place your order and allow an additional week before I am able to mail your print to you. This gives me time to add these embellishments and time for your print to dry completely. It also means your print will truly be one of a kind, created with you in mind! I encourage you to choose the colour scheme you’d like the gouache to be painted in, to suit your individual taste.

- While great care is taken to ensure prints are as identical as possible, the handmade nature of lino printing means that prints may have minor differences. In this case, the print is sold as a variable edition as embellishments are made individually to prints after being ordered, which means each print is truly one of a kind!
- All prints will come numbered and signed by me.

- I make every effort to mail out all orders within 7 days of them being placed. If this isn’t possible I will contact you as soon as possible to let you know.
- All artwork sold will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper and water-proof cellophane to ensure they arrive to you safely.
